A three-seater, measuring a length of 2.87 meters, the mia is your ideal partner for town. Compact and easy to manoeuvre, it even fits into especially tight parking spaces, the centrally fitted seat providing the driver with excellent all-round visibility. .
And that’s not all. Passengers also benefit: The central driver’s seat means that passengers in the rear can stretch their legs and also have good visibility ahead. The sliding doors extend from the roof right down to the floor of on both sides making it easy to get in and out of the car. The range of optional equipment allows each buyer to give a personal touch to the design of his mia.
Allow me to introduce myself: mia, THE mia. I’m an electric car, but not just any sort: I am the electric car of today’s world, because E-mobility is no longer a dream of the future. You can drive me on journeys of up to 130 kilometers – enough to move freely around town. Regardless of whether you’re going to kindergarten, school, work or shopping, I’ll be accompanying you throughout your day – all year round. And if you need more space or a box van, take a closer look at my siblings, the mia L and the mia K. We are who we are: emission-free, practical, electric. And speaking for myself – I am what I am.
The mia’s heart: the battery A little bundle of energy
The standard battery installed in all mia models is an 8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) battery with a range of 80 - 90 kilometres. The standard battery may optionally also be replaced by a larger 12 kWh battery (120 - 130 kilometres) which will be the UK norm. The 8 kWh battery takes 3 hours to charge and the 12 kWh battery takes 5 hours to charge.
The batteries also allow for shorter charging times as they do not suffer from the memory effect (loss of capacity due to short or partial charging) a 10 minute charge will give 8 kilometres of autonomy. The batteries in the mia, mia L and mia box van have a warranty period of 3 years.
